Johnston’s practice focuses on state and federal criminal defense law to include juvenile law, white collar crime, and post-conviction relief. She is a death penalty certified attorney with experience in both state and federal courts litigation cases, as well as handling appeals in the Arkansas Court of Appeals, Arkansas Supreme Court and Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. She also represents clients in the areas of domestic relations litigation and administrative law.
Johnston previously served as an Administrative Law Judge for the Department of Finance and Administration. During her tenure, she heard cases and determined controversies between taxpayers and the department regarding taxes, licenses, and permits.
